I'm having a good week thus far-

Had a solid race on Sunday for once. I didn't win - or really come close, but jackie d did and methinks it's because of our recent Saturday training session. I was very satisfied with how I raced, and had a great time. Maybe my new threads helped out a bit. I beat gibbs, just like I told him I would.

Looks like I'm getting a new job - been waiting for a while, and the little birdie finally called my name today. It'll still be several months before I start, but at least now I know they want me. Plus it'll be a nice increase in pay!

I got to reconnect to someone I've been out of touch with - sometimes just a little while can feel like forever.

I'm headed to chi-town for some cross racing/GIS conferencing this weekend, and I think it's gonna be a good time. Maybe I'll even learn something at the conference instead of just wasting my employer's money.

Heading to the stagger inn later after I go wait in line forever to vote. Hopefully they'll still have some Schlafly 15th anniversary left for me.
